Web & mobile learning platform
Edubook
An all-in-one school management platform connecting administrators, teachers, students and parents — dashboards, messaging, class scheduling, notifications and academic performance tracking, across a web platform and a companion mobile app, built to work identically in Arabic and English.

The problem
An LMS has an unusually wide surface: the same platform has to serve students working through lessons, instructors authoring and grading, and administrators managing the whole institution — each with different permissions, different densities of information and different devices. Building that as one coherent product, in two writing directions, is where most education platforms come apart.
What I worked on
- 01Led the frontend and mobile team, working across both the web platform and the companion mobile app.
- 02Worked on the component library the platform is assembled from, keeping student, teacher, parent and admin surfaces consistent as the product grew.
- 03Contributed to the complex application flows — enrolment, class scheduling, messaging, assessment and grading — favouring composable pieces over one-off screens.
- 04Worked on the bidirectional layout, so Arabic and English read as equal-quality experiences rather than one being a translation of the other.
Outcome
The product is in daily use by schools across the region, with the companion app past 50,000 downloads on Google Play — administrators, teachers, students and parents working in the same system, in both Arabic and English. It was a team effort; my part was the frontend and mobile work.
